Our Food Philosophy

 20nine Restaurant & Wine Bar specializes in wine country cuisine, using only the finest ingredients.  Executive Chef Scott Boone has created an eclectic cuisine to achieve flavorful wine pairings.  The menu selections include duck, salmon, pork, and steak entrees.  Our European sized portions enable our guests to save room for dessert. Changing the menu seasonally allows Chef Stefan to showcase seasonal fruits, vegetables, and meats.

Chef Scott Boone is the captain for our culinary brigade at 20nine. After working in award-winning restaurants across Texas, Chef Scott relocated back to San Antonio where he studied business and history during his college years. His talent and creativity is present in every aspect of his food design. With a strong tradition of excellence and a demand to never let his research in food go idle, Chef Scott’s ambition promises to guide 20nine to the foreground of dining.

Our Wine Commitment

20nine Restaurant & Wine Bar is committed to wine education.  We strive to offer a Napa Valley Road trip experience without leaving San Antonio.  The bar, lounge, & patio areas offers a trendy, stylish, urban setting for serious wine drinkers to sit back and enjoy a “Road Trip.”    “Road Trips” offer three 2oz tastes of wine that are grouped by region, varietal, or style.  All road trips arrive with “itineraries” (tasting notes) for the “traveler” to refer to as they are sipping each glass.  We offer a selection of more than 60 wines by the glass & over 300 wines by the bottle.  Every wine is served at proper temperature in Stölzle crystal stemware.  

 Marisa & Troy Fulmer have numerous relationships with wineries and Winemakers around the world.  They are pleased to offer monthly winemaker tastings & bottle signings for a more intimate guest encounter.  The Wine Tastings typically last for one hour & include appetizers, wine tasting, & a meet and greet with a guest Winemaker.  All wines are available for retail purchase at the wine tasting & can be personally autographed by the Winemaker.  Please join our e-mail list to be the first to know about upcoming events.
